Are you looking to kick-start your career in Sprinkler Engineering? We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Residential Engineer to join our team with A&F Sprinklers. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, develop new skills, and gain hands-on experience within Sprinkler Engineering and build a lasting long term career.
Key Responsibilities
As Trainee Residential Engineer, you will undergo and live the whole life cycle of Residential Sprinkler Systems. Covering sales, tenders, design, project engineering, administration, Health & Safety and site requirements. This role is a starting point for a talented and ambitious trainee looking to build a career within engineering.
The apprenticeship will be held with Rochdale Training Association whereby you will attend their training centre to complete the apprenticeship. The apprenticeship undertaken will be Engineering Operative Level 2.

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office preferred)
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- A team player with a strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks

What We Offer
- Salary - £16,000 per annum.
- Hours – – Full-time position with flexible working hours (flexitime), allowing you to manage your schedule while meeting project and team needs.
