We’re now looking for a hands-on Project Manager to join our Repairs Division, ideally someone with a background in small works - such as shop unit fit-outs, minor refurbishments, and system alterations.
This role is perfect for an engineer ready to take the next step into project management, with 3–5 years’ experience in fire protection or building services, and a strong understanding of how small-scale projects operate.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Project Manager in our Repairs Division, you'll oversee the delivery of smaller-scale sprinkler projects, including:
- Managing minor installations, system modifications, and remedial works
- Reviewing and producing technical drawings and specifications
- Coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Attending site visits, client meetings, and handovers
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Preparing risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH documentation
- Supporting junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years’ experience in fire protection, building services, or similar
- Familiarity with BSEN 12845, BS9251, NFPA, or FM Global standards
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and hydraulic calculation software (e.g. FHC)
- Revit experience is a bonus but not essential
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, customer-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple small projects simultaneously
