We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Pump Repairs Coordinator to join our Repairs Department in Rochdale. This is a varied role at the centre of our pump repairs activity, coordinating information, quotations, documentation, materials and customer communication to help ensure repair and remedial works are delivered efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the Repairs Department Manager, engineers, customers, suppliers and internal teams, you will coordinate the day-to-day administration and commercial support required for pump repair and remedial works. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and remedial reports returned by engineers and identifying follow-up requirements.
  • Preparing estimates and quotations from engineers’ reports and customer enquiries.
  • Preparing and issuing RAMS, job packs and other documentation for secured works.
  • Sourcing and procuring materials and coordinating deliveries to support planned works.
  • Issuing completed paperwork and certificates to customers and end users.
  • Managing telephone and email enquiries, filing, document preparation and accurate administration of departmental records and systems.
  • Liaising with engineers, customers, suppliers and colleagues to obtain information and help keep works progressing.
  • Attending site visits where required and working in accordance with company health, safety and operational procedures.
  • Supporting business projects and the wider team where required.

The Ideal Skills

  • Excellent organisation and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication, with a strong customer-service approach.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with confidence using business systems and databases.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing reports, preparing quotations and issuing documentation.
  • A proactive, practical approach to solving problems and progressing work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in a coordination, repairs, service, maintenance, estimating or technical administration role.
  • Experience within fire protection, pumps, mechanical services, building services, engineering or construction.
  • Experience preparing quotations or estimates and coordinating materials or suppliers.
  • An understanding of RAMS, job packs, PPM/remedial reports or similar technical documentation.

What We Offer

  • Rate - £25,000 - £27,500 per annum (dependant upon experience).
  • Hours – Full-time position with flexible working hours (flexi-time), allowing you to manage your schedule while meeting project and team needs.
