"Operation Jigsaw" was our plan to bring our office staff all under one roof. The decision was not made lightly, but after careful consideration and analysis of our business needs, we identified numerous benefits that this consolidation would bring to our company and our workforce. In the back end of 2023 work began to make it a reality. Mowbray Workspace Solutions transformed numerous areas of our head office to provide us with the extra space required to house our Service & Repairs, Accounts, Purchasing, and Tools & Plant divisions. A mezzanine was constructed in our warehouse with a spacious open plan main office, two offices and two meeting rooms. Racking and shelving was erected in the rest of the warehouse and under the mezzanine for us to store our tools and equipment. One of our offices downstairs was completely redesigned with a new layout and with the same modern, glass-front room design as the mezzanine. They also designed and built facilities including a kitchen, showers and toilets to help accommodate the extra workers.
Our consolidation marks a pivotal moment in our journey, driven by our commitment to enhancing collaboration, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a stronger sense of unity among our valued team members. Here are just a handful of the ways in which our company will benefit from our unification.
Bringing us into a single location streamlines communication, decision-making processes, and daily operations. This increased efficiency allows us to respond more effectively to customers, market demands and capitalise on emerging opportunities.
