We are currently looking for an enthusiastic person to be trained and developed as a Design engineer with the opportunity of becoming a future Project Manager.The position will entail full training in designing and calculating Automatic Fire Sprinkler systems
Producing autocad drawings & block plans
Hydraulic calculations
Learning and understanding all Sprinkler standards (LPC, Factory Mutual, NFPA & EN)
The candidate will be progressed through all stages of the LPCB competency standards (basic, intermediate & FHC)
The candidate should have:
Basic computer skills - Word processing, Exel, Email
Minimum 6 Grade C or above GCSE's including Maths & English.
Preferable - Basic AutoCad skills.Project Manager / Engineer
The candidate must have the following experience, Qualifications and credentials:Essential:
Preferable but not essential:
- Minimum 10 Years continued service within the sprinkler industry
- Extensive knowledge of BS 5306 & Technical bulletins
- Extensive Knowledge of Full Hydraulic Calculation rules
- Full Driving License
- Autocad Design
- Good Computer skills - Autocad, Exel, Word, Powerpoint etc.
- Organisation / Leadership skills
- Flexible
- Willing to travel
- Self motivated
